Every rug is hand woven in Katmandu, Nepal high above in the Himalayan mountains. The wool is washed with natural mountain water sent to a dye master to dye each spool ( AZO environmentally friendly dye is used) the carpet design is drawn on a large scale graph paper then a custom loom is constructed. Weavers can finish 1-6 inches a day.
